The interior is based primarily on natural materials – solid wood and stone – which suit the character of the mountain environment. The dominant feature of the main living space is an exposed beam ceiling that sets the scale of the interior and follows the traditional construction principles of mountain chalets. Large-format glazing connects the interior with the surrounding landscape while preserving the rhythm of the house’s traditional structure.
